Product Overview
Tahoma 31 Bermudagrass is a bermuda grass cultivar that was developed at Oklahoma State University with the goal of producing a excellent quality bermudagrass that was especially cold tolerant.
Tahoma Sod is available in:
- Small Rolls - This is traditional palletized sod. Each roll measures 2' x 5' feet. These are best for small areas around obstacles, or for smaller projects requiring bermudagrass
- Big Rolls - 315 square feet, requires an installer machine. We have installers available for rent. Installer is included for FTL orders at no charge if you return the machine to us (for contractors only).

Drought Resistant
If you've been growing grass in the Maryland area for any length of time, you know how hot and dry summers can get! Tahoma maintains its color with much less water than competing varieties which is important in today's climate and water use considerations.

Tahoma sod has a beautiful texture and deep green color. Whether you are mowing at an inch or down to 1/8th, Tahoma is sure to impress even the most seasoned superintendent.
Early Spring Green Up
The air is warm and the birds are chirping. No one wants a dormant bermuda field on a nice Spring day! Tahoma was #1 for Spring green-up in NTEP trials.
Wear Tolerant
Tahoma sod repairs itself rapidly after injury. Whether it is a golf divot, soccer crease, or infield - this grass will quickly fill back in like the damage was never there!

Central Sod is located in Centreville and Annapolis Maryland, but we deliver Tahoma bermudagrass throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia, Washington DC, Delaware, and Southeast PA.
