Where we are:
Central Sod Farms of Maryland has five farms located around Annapolis, Maryland and Centreville, Maryland. Our main farm and office is right off of 301 in Centreville.

What we do:
Field Crew
We grow more than 1500 acres of turf and row crops. Our field crew tills, plants, and harvests year round! The hours are sometimes long, especially during the busiest harvesting and planting seasons, but turning a dirt field into a beautiful lawn is rewarding.
Harvesting
Our harvesting crew cuts fresh sod every day for delivery and customer pickups. We have several automated harvesters that cut, roll, stack, and palletize the sod all in one machine! Pallets are then carried away by forklift.
Sales and Office
Our office staff processes orders, assists with customer questions, dispatches our trucks and cutting crews, and keeps everything running smoothly. It can be a fast paced environment during the busy seasons!
Delivery
We have a small fleet of delivery trucks that our drivers use to deliver sod. Each truck carries a piggyback forklift that the driver uses to unload. We are 100% local... No OTR required!
Shop
Our mechanics maintain our fleet of trucks, tractors, and equipment. Today's complicated machinery can sometimes be difficult to repair, but we always get the job done!
