Central Sod's signature blend, Durablend Tall Fescue, makes for a perfect lawn! Boasting the best all-around performance out of every grass that we grow, Durablend Tall Fescue is the Most Popular turf-type in the Mid-Atlantic!
Durablend offers a rich, deep green color, appealing texture, and excellent drought resistance. It is also a shade tolerant sod. The maintenance requirement is lower than that of conventional tall fescues due to it's proprietary seed blend, meaning less time spent doing yardwork and more time enjoying your new lawn!
This Fescue sod is ideal for projects of all size, from townhouse backyards and poolscaping to curb appeal and parks. Our all-purpose blend consists of highly researched, Maryland approved fescue varities. Durablend Tall Fescue is Maryland State Certified.
Delivery
Durablend Tall Fescue is cut in 10 square foot rolls that are stacked 60 rolls per pallet. Sod is delivered on a wooden pallet. Please mark an area, leave us a note or specifiy when ordering with placement instructions.
Pick-up
Central Sod's Durablend Tall Fescue is available for pick-up at all three locations: Annapolis MD, Centreville MD, and Alexandra VA locations! Order online and select the location you would like to pick up at during checkout. Click here for locations map
- Small Rolls - This is traditional palletized sod and is perfect for homeowners or smaller installations around obstacles. Each roll measures 2'x5' feet. *At our Annapolis location, our roll dimensions may vary from 2'x5' to 18"x80" throughout the year.
- Big Rolls - Ideal for large projects including expansive properties, athletic fields and golf courses. Our big rolls are 315 square feet and require an installer machine. We have installers available for rent for orders less than one truck load. An installer is included with full truck load orders at no charge, if you return the machine to us(for contractors only).
